As a Club we seek to make participation in football available to as many individuals as possible within the local community. We help do this by keeping our membership fees low. Despite this, the Club is able to provide and maintain fantastic facilities at School Lane, including a purpose-built clubhouse and award-winning pitches.
Membership fees cover around 60% of our football-related costs with the difference being made up largely by income from the bar and tea bar, sponsorship, fund-raising, donations, and grants.
This means that we depend on the generosity of those who donate their time or funding to help the Club achieve its charitable objectives. We are very grateful to all of the individuals, companies and other organisations that support the Club. There are many different ways to support the Club's activities.
The support of those who give their time freely is critical to success of the Club. You can get involved by helping to run a team, becoming a trustee, helping out in the bar or coffee shop, organising events, assisting to maintain our facilities or providing administrative support. If you would like to learn more about how to get involved please contact a Club officer or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
Show your support for the Club and the local community by sponsoring a team kit. As a charity, donations and sponsorship from companies can be tax deductible. Sponsors are featured on our website. For more information about sponsorship opportunities please contact a Club officer or e-mail email@example.com
The Club appreciates the generosity of those who donate to support its endeavours. Gift Aid means that as a charity the Club can claim an extra 25p for every £1 donated by a UK taxpayer. If you pay tax above the basic rate, you can also claim back the difference between the rate you pay and the basic rate. Please complete our Gift Aid declaration form and return to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Many companies are generous in supporting charities through matched giving schemes, Some company schemes match charity fundraising or donations by their employees. Other schemes will also match the value of the time you give to a charity. Please ask your HR team for more information.
Over 5,000 retailers including Amazon, Deliveroo, Nike, eBay, Just Eat, Adidas, Game, John Lewis, Argos and more will send the Club a donation when you use the easyfundraising website or app to shop with them.
